Response Codes and expected HTTP Pages
Receipt Column is defined as:
- AR - Approval Receipt
- AA – Adverse Action Receipt
- PR - Print Receipt
- NR – No Receipt (Corrective measures are required for processing) Please display response messages and response details and description to cashier.

0204 | NR | Transaction was Previously Processed | Transaction was previously processed in Certegy's system. | HTTP Page 402 |
0205 | NR | Invalid or Inactive Setup Information | The client's account information does not exist or has been deactivated in Certegy's system. Reattempt the transaction. If the issue persists, contact Certegy Client Relations at 800-237-7506. | HTTP Page 400 |
0206 | NR | ID Does not conform to Known Formats | The ID presented does not conform to known ID formats. Validate the identification, Date of Birth and Name before re-entering. | HTTP Page 400 |
0207 | NR | Invalid SSN or ITIN | The SSN or ITIN presented does not conform to known formats. Validate the information before re-entering. | HTTP Page 400 |
0208 | NR | Name Does Not Match | Consumers name does not match what was entered when they enrolled in the service. Ask the consumer to provide the last name as it appears on their SSN card and retry the transaction | HTTP Page 400 |
0209 | NR | Certegy System Error | Please reattempt the transaction. If the issue persists, contact Certegy Help Desk. | HTTP Page 500 |
0210 | NR | Enroll Consumer | Consumer has not previously enrolled in the service. Enroll consumer before proceeding. | HTTP Page 409 |
0213 | NR | Reversal Successful | Check was successfully reversed from Certegy's system. Re-process the original transaction, if applicable. | HTTP Page 200 |
0214 | NR | Reversal Failed | Certegy was unable to find the original authorization request or the reversal request was received after the Reversal Window had expired. | HTTP Page 402 |
0215 | NR | Unable to Process the ID Electronically | Please manually enter the consumer's ID and resend the transaction to Certegy. | HTTP Page 400 |
0216 | NR | Invalid Identification Type | The type of identification presented is not permitted. Reattempt the transaction with another form of ID. | HTTP Page 400 |
0217 | NR | Date of Birth Does Not Match | The Date of Birth presented does not match what Certegy has on file for the consumer. Validate the DOB before re-entering. | HTTP Page 400 |
